Useful travel decisions need a clear answer, a source you can check and an honest account of what remains uncertain.
Who is responsible
Content is published by the Nomad Desk Editorial Team. This is an organizational byline, not the name of an individual expert. Research, drafting, data processing and site maintenance may use AI assistance.
Our earlier “Elena Marchetti” profile was a composite editorial persona, not a real person or qualified reviewer. We have retired that profile and its Person markup. We do not claim that a named immigration lawyer has reviewed these guides.
Sources and uncertainty
For entry requirements, use the destination's government, embassy or immigration authority as the deciding source. We link those sources so readers can confirm the rule for their passport, travel purpose and dates.
Our Visa Matrix combines published datasets and curated corrections. Its snapshot date is separate from the date of any later correction. Conflicting source readings are flagged; an automated comparison is not a legal review.
Where a source does not establish a claim, we qualify or remove it. Advice from forums is context about reported experiences, not proof of a current entry rule.
What the dates mean
An Updated date records a content edit. A dated source note records the information checked in that section. Neither means that every statement on the page was independently reverified that day.
Prices, availability and visa rules can change between checks. We correct documented errors and retain dated snapshots of content changes. We do not promise a fixed review interval that we cannot substantiate.
How we compare eSIMs
Our comparisons use published plan allowances, validity, price, coverage and provider terms. A provider-feed check verifies the offer listed at that time; it is not a field test of speed or coverage.
We do not call a plan “tested” without a documented test. Hotspot limits, activation rules and fair-use restrictions may differ by destination and package. The checkout page and current provider terms determine the purchase.
